Realistic Hairline Stroke is a manual technique that draws individual hair-like strokes along the hairline. SMP instead uses tiny pigment dots and shading to simulate the shadow of hair follicles across thinning or balding areas of the scalp — creating an illusion of density rather than individual hairs, and is typically used for broader scalp coverage, not just the hairline edge.
